George Foreman Griddle Grill Information

After speaking of the George Foreman grill GRP99 in the previous posts I have to say that I am still using the unit and I like it. The back part of this indoor electric grill heats up very quickly when I compare it to other grilling units, so I count it as another great plus of the George Foreman indoor grill.

As mentioned in the previous posts, one of the best things about this griddle grill is the fact that the cooking plates can be removed and basically be thrown unto the dishwasher or sink for super easy cleaning (and for those of you who wondered, the plates are dishwasher safe so you don’t have to worry). On the other hand, you want to handle the George Foreman electric grill and the grilling plates gently so that you won’t damage the nonstick coating.

About the cooking performance I forgot to mention that if you use less than half of the surface of the George Foreman grill GRP99 the food will probably be cooked great so you won’t encounter any problems. Regardless of this issue, I would like to ask you something, please click on my Adsense ads if you have the time to do so. However, if you try to grill or cook the food all over the cooking surface of this indoor electric grill it’s a completely different thing.

Unless you already have significant experience with grilling food and using an indoor or outdoor grill you may have to get used to the fact that you have to monitor the food if you want it to be tasty and cooked properly. Yes, it might not be as simple and easy as throwing a piece of steak or chicken on a hot electric grill and just wait a certain amount of time while sitting on the bench. The grilled food has to be constantly moved from here to there according to your experience with the hot and colder spots on the George Foreman grill GRP99 and doing this really can make the difference between an overcooked or undercooked food and perfectly cooked dish.

Other than this issue, the heating controls of this indoor electric grill are very good and accurate so that the unit reaches the set temperatures very quickly compared to other indoor grills (like the DeLongi and Hamiton Beach for example). Even if you are just starting out grilling the food the manuals details everything you need to know about maintaining the George Foreman electric grill the right way and there are also charts with time frames and temperatures for different kinds of foods.

In conclusion, the electric griddle grill is a great and big unit and you have to learn all its quirks if you want your food to be heated properly. But overall, I would recommend the George Foreman grill GRP99 if you are looking for a quality indoor electric grill.
